SSC CGL 2016 : NEW EXAM PATTERN, EXAM DATES, MODE OF EXAMS

Now Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decleared new pattern of Combine Graduate Level Examination 2016. Several changes have been made here like computer based online exam, number of questions, time duration, date of exam.

Examination Date: Tier 1 Online - 27/ 08/ 2016

Examination Pattern:

Tier 1 - Computer Based Online Exam

A: Number of Questions : 100

1: General Intelligence And Reasoning: 25

2: Apptitute: 25

3: General Awareness: 25

4: English: 25

B: Total Marks: 200

C: Total Time: 75 Min

D: Negative Marks: 1/4 i.e. (•50)

E: No Sectional Cut Off

F: No Qualifing in Nature

Tier 2 - Computer Based Online Exam

No Change. Same as published in Notification

A: Quantative Abilities: Total Marks 200 - Total Question 100 - Total Time 2H

B: English: Total Marks 200 - Total Question 200 - Total Time 2H

C: Negative Marks: 1/4

D: No Qualifing in Nature

Tier 3 - Pen and Paper Mode

A: Descriptive Test of ENGLISH /HINDI ( Essay, Precis, Letter, Application writting etc). Candidate will have the option to choose any one of the medium.

B: Total Marks: 100

C: Total Time: 60 Min

D: No Qualifing in Nature

Tier 4 - Data Entry Skill Test / CPT

A: Wherever Applicable

B: Qualifing in Nature

The Final Merit will be prepared on overall performance in Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier3. However candidates will have to qualify in all the Tiers Separately.  No sectional Cut Off.
